Men and therapy: podcast with the UKCP

Psychologies with UKCP ‘Talking Therapies’ podcast: Why don’t men seek therapy?

A survey commissioned by The Mental Health Foundation found that men are less likely than women to seek professional support, with 28% admitting they did not seek medical help for their mental health. The survey also revealed that men are less likely to talk about issues with friends and family.

In this podcast, psychotherapist, Andy Cottom, speaks to Matt Nicholls, the Head of Content at UKCP, to find how stigma about talking about their emotions impacts men’s lives.
