How to get more creativity into your team

Add a woman to your team and you’ll inject an automatic hit of creativity – but only if your team is working non-competitively.
Women have been shown to work most creatively in small groups, but when teams go head-to-head, women become less creative, whereas men benefit from the competition, according to a study by Markus Baer et al, published in the journal Organization Science.
Meanwhile, if you are struggling for inspiration at work, you should also try taking up a creative hobby outside of your nine-to-five; another new study, 'Benefiting from creative activity' shows that it directly helps with creative work tasks.
