Ask a better question: Any time you sense yourself falling into, โ€˜I canโ€™t do itโ€™ territory, ask yourself, โ€˜What can I do to help develop a habit of positive thinking?โ€™

Highlight the positives: Do you spend more time talking about how you made a mess of things? Switch to anything that was even a tiny achievement.

Change your posture: Social psychologist, Amy Cuddy, from Harvard Business School, found that power poses (opening up our bodies) shifts the mind to becoming more confident. Cuddyโ€™s findings confirm that just two minutes of posing alters the brainโ€™s chemistry; a great way to support yourself physically, as well as mentally.
