A review of brain-training games has revealed that spending time completing mental exercises on our phones or computers only helps us become better at those games (or similar ones). Unfortunately, the research suggests that it is unlikely players would experience an improvement in their performance at work; or the agility of their brains.
Reading a newspaper or listening to an audiobook provides more benefits. Someone reading us a story? Now that’s a no-brainer!
