(1) How will you acknowledge my order?

An email acknowledgement of your order will be sent to you once you have placed your order. This will confirm to you the details of what you have bought and the address or addresses to which the issues will be sent. We will then send you a letter of confirmation by post which will include your unique subscriber number and the information regarding your subscription start and end dates.

(2) If I’m giving a gift subscription, do you send anything to the recipient?

We will send your purchase confirmation email to the email address that you provided with your order. A confirmation letter will be sent to the subscription donor and not the recipient; we will not contact the recipient directly. We will however send you a gift card so that you are able to present your gift subscription. If it is your intention to renew this subscription it may be useful to retain your letter of confirmation so that you have the subscription details to hand.

(3) What is my subscriber number?

We use your subscriber number to identify your subscriber record; each subscriber number is unique to you as a customer. Your subscription number may be the same if you have multiple subscriptions with us. This number will be confirmed on your confirmation letter sent via the post not on your email confirmation. Please keep this number to hand so that when you contact us we are able to find your record swiftly.

(4) How secure are my credit card details?

All the information you provide is encrypted (scrambled) using the industry standard SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology so that when you submit the order from the online form to our computer, nothing can be read as it travels down the secure line. Your details are then applied to our subscription system, which resides in a completely separate, unlinked area away from our internet pages.

(5) How do I renew the subscription?

Whether you are taking out a subscription for yourself or as a gift, we will send you a reminder before the end of your subscription. Nothing will be sent to the recipient unless the subscription expires. Either complete and return the renewal form you receive with payment or call our Credit Card hotline on:

(6) What if an issue doesn’t arrive?

Simply contact our Customer Services team using the contact details above and they will check we have your correct address details and arrange for a replacement magazine to be sent to you.

(7) What if a magazine arrives damaged?

Simply contact our Customer Services team using the contact details and they will arrange for a replacement copy to be sent to you.

(8) How long does it take for magazines to arrive outside the United Kingdom?

Speed of delivery to subscribers outside the UK obviously depends on the quality of service provided by the various organisations along the way. The following airmail delivery times should be calculated from the date the magazine is published and are approximate: Europe – 3/5 days. Middle East/Africa/Asia/North and South America – 6/10 days. Asia-Pacific/Australasia – 11/15 days.

(9) How do I change my address?

You can notify us of a change of address online by visiting our online subscriber services area found here http://www.subscription.co.uk/help/. Alternatively you use the contact details listed above.

(10) What is the price in USD$ or other currencies?

Prices will be converted by your Credit Card company at the current rate of exchange. This rate will fluctuate as the purchase is processed, to get a real time conversion rate why not simply search the web.

(11) How do I order back issues and what are the prices/availability?

(12) When does my current subscription expire?

To find out when your subscription expires is simple, you can use the contact details above or self serve by visiting our online subscriber services area here: http://www.subscription.co.uk/help/. We will notify you by post with information of your expiry and offer you the chance to renew your subscription, so please do look out for these reminders both in with your magazine and separately via the postal network.

(13) When is my first issue due?

Details of when you will receive your first issue are contained within your confirmation letter. If you do not have your confirmation letter we advise you contact our customer services team on 0845 872 7388. Generally orders are processed within 48 hours and the next available issue of your chosen magazine will be supplied unless you specifically wish to back start with the issue currently on sale. Please note, subscriptions cannot be back started any further than the issue that is currently available on the UK newsstand.

(14) Can I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are non-refundable and can’t be cancelled before the end of your subscription term; we will however offer you an alternative magazine or product to the value of the item/s you have originally purchased in exchange. If your subscription is paid via Direct Debit, please advise in writing to the Freepost address above.
