Healthy red velvet smoothie
Preparation Time: 5 minutes
1 medium raw beetroot (approx 80g), peeled
6-8 medium strawberries (approx 100g), hulled
1 large date (Medjool are good)
250ml unsweetened almond milk
1 level tbsp raw cacao powder
1 tsp maple syrup
1. Chop the beetroot into small pieces and roughly chop the strawberries and date before adding to the beaker
2. Add the almond milk, cacao powder and maple syrup
3. Blend until smooth
