For you, feeling flat can often be a sign that it’s time for change, as you’re at your best when you feel you’re growing and learning. Sometimes losing your spark can also be a red flag that personal interactions have become transactional rather than meaningful, draining rather than feeding your spirit.
You may feel at your most alive when you spend time with those who share your drive to question and live consciously. A sense of purpose also feeds your spark, so if you’re not getting that from your day-to-day routine right now, it’s time to make room for new challenges. For some that might mean carving out more time for creativity or a project or interest that lifts your focus from the every day, and takes you out of your comfort zone.
A regular class or group can add something extra, especially if led by a person you feel inspired by or can learn from. Be aware that stress can also dampen your natural zest for life but unlike others, it’s feeling stuck on a treadmill that creates unease for you, not facing something new and challenging. Your natural stress valve is experiencing small pockets of inspiration throughout your day, so seek out new podcasts, music, books or online courses, or make more time for interactions with the right people.
