Starring Rachel Weisz and Sam Claflin, My Cousin Rachel is a new film adaptation of Daphne du Maurier’s acclaimed novel and will be released in cinemas now. Featuring an incredible backdrop and visually captivating and moody scenes adorned by candlelight, the scenes in My Cousin Rachel are stunning.

Taking inspiration from the film, we want you to share with us your best photos using lighting that looks just like candlelight to mirror the gorgeous shots throughout My Cousin Rachel. Submit your entry by emailing your photo to letters@psychologies.co.uk with the subject line ‘My Cousin Rachel’.

We have a photography course to give away to one lucky winner, courtesy of Buyagift.com, the leading provider of gift experiences in the UK. This lucky winner will also receive a fabulous Daphne du Maurier book set and a My Cousin Rachel canvas.

During the photography course, you'll learn to take control of your camera with the help of experienced instructors to achieve the pictures you want. Your instructor will run through the controls of the camera, picking out the ones that really make a difference, and the basics of composition. You'll use this new knowledge to take pictures that fully capture your impression of the location.

A dark romance, My Cousin Rachel tells the story of a young Englishman who plots revenge against his mysterious, beautiful cousin, believing that she murdered his guardian. But his feelings become complicated as he finds himself falling under the beguiling spell of her charms.
