Think Wimbledon, think strawberries – but if fiddly fruit is not for you then why not tuck into some incredibly tasty strawberry flapjacks? This scrumptious little snack will be a welcome break to pack in your rucksack for a day at the tennis, and even those with allergies can tuck in as it’s wheat- and dairy-free too. Open up the champagne and enjoy.
Makes 8 bars
200g rolled oats
100g flaked almonds
70g gluten-free and wheat-free flour
100g runny honey
- Pre-heat oven to 180 degrees. Line your baking tray with greaseproof paper to stop the bars from sticking to it.
- Mix all ingredients in bowl and pour into baking tray.
- Press down and bake for 25 mins. The result may be deliciously crumbly. Enjoy !
