All about eggs

Eggs are a natural source of protein, vitamins and minerals. A medium egg contains fewer than 70 calories and is naturally rich in vitamin D, which a lot of us lack in the winter months because our bodies can make little vitamin D when daylight hours are short.

Eggs are also an excellent source of vitamins B12 and vitamin B2 (riboflavin) and a source of vitamin A, as well as containing essential minerals and trace elements, including phosphorus, iodine and selenium – all helping to boost nutrient levels at a time when they may be sorely needed.
