Whether she admires him or can’t stand him, a girl’s relationship with her father is always the lynchpin of her personal life. The dynamic between a father and daughter is a complex one, and all the more so given that it has perhaps been explored less than other relationships. To work out what kind of father/daughter relationship you have answer the following questions as honestly as possible.

The answer choices were very limiting but the description thought proboking. I came out with the “loving daughter’ which is accurate only in title. Yes, I once fit the description provided perfectly but that couldn’t be further from the truth since I divorced from a man whom my father approved of and began living by my own standards instead of his – not out of any kind of renellion but the increasing agony of knowing, as I matured into a young adult, that I was living someone else’s life. But I have a much healthier attitude to life now even though his disapproval hurts a lot if I think too much about it. I know I’m doing what’s best in the long run by being true to myself – and I also have a better relationship with my mum now too.
This also isn’t reallt accurate for me. I don’t think these limited multiple choice tests can be accurate when there are only a few options which often are auite extreme from each other. I often had to choose the next best option so I’m not suprised it doesn’t ring that true. I picked up a couple of thigs from it.
Lol, well this completely false. “the rebel daughter”?
Apparently my father and I hate each other according to this test.
I agree I don’t really conform to most of my peers and I imagine he probably does wish I did a bit more with my life but all in all we get on like a house on fire.
I’m going to have to recheck my answers I’m so confused!!
