YOUR STORIES: What I do for fun III

YOUR STORIES: What I do for fun III

We’re proud to have such intelligent and inspiring readers. That’s why we’re dedicating this online slot to your stories. This month, to tie in with our dossier which focuses on getting more fun in your life, we want to hear about what you do for fun.

Here, reader Sophie Garner (below), tells us why she does origami for fun.

‘I bought myself an origami set recently. Creating a small object out of folding paper is such a simple pleasure, but it allows me to lose myself in something that requires me to concentrate and relax at the same time. It’s like an active meditation. I feel like a child exploring something new, it’s my adult playtime. It doesn’t matter if it turns out wrong, I just start again!’

Email reader@psychologies.co.uk with your story (no more than 150 words) and a photograph of yourself.
